STONE FIREPLACES
Our stone fireplaces can be made from Portuguese stone, Agean stone and English Limestone and in a myriad of styles. The stone fireplaces can come with a matching hearth and back panel or an alternative complimentary set that will contrast with the fireplace surround. We also supply black or polished cast iron inserts. Our fireplaces can be used for an open fire, gas fire or in conjunction with a new stove.
WOODEN FIREPLACES
Country Fires supply a range of wooden surrounds in a variety of solid woods and wood veneers. We can also supply Victorian and period style cast iron inserts to fit with the wood surround. These can be black cast iron or polished cast iron.
HEARTHS
All fireplaces and stove installations need a hearth. There is a wide choice available and depends a lot on personal preference. Virtually any material that is non-combustible can be used. We regularly install stone hearths, slate hearths, granite hearths and also make tile hearths, glass hearths and steel hearths. Hearth sizes are tailored to each individual fireplace or stove installation. We can also give you advice on hearth care and the correct way to keep them looking as good as new.
